King George the third ordered the proclamation.

The king forbid living there because he doesnt want to start war with the indians. Because it would cost them a lot of money.

The colonist thought it was a dumb idea because a lot of people died for that land and now can not use it. Most of the colonist ignored it.

King George 3rd issued the proclaimation.
He forbib settlement in the new territory becausse the Native Americans weren't going to give up their land without a fight and after just fighting with Fgrance for so long they didn't really have the funding for another war right away.
The colonistists didn't like this because they said that since the king was so far away how would he know whaat the colonists were going through and what their needs were.

King George III (3rd) of England issued the Proclamation.

The Proclamation was issued in order to keep colonists from going into Native Americans' land and angering them. King George III did not want to fight another war (mostly because of the cost).

The colonists did not like the king's Proclamation because they had fought for the land and now they weren't able to move into it. The colonists thought it didn't make sense that someone who was across the ocean was making choices for them. In fact, many colonists ignored the Proclamation and went to the land west of the Appalachian Mountians.

King George didn't want anyone going over there to prevent another war from happening.

The colonists despised this decision because there brothers, sons, fathers, and grandfathers had died trying to fight for new land, and now they had found out so many had died for nothing.
