EAH- Chenault 8/27

Please watch the video link in the "links" section called, PREAMBLE (using your headphones). Listen to the words that begin the US Constitution. You may need to google the "US Constitution Preamble" to read the words also to get a better understanding of what is being said.


After watching the video and reading the words, please define the following words in your vocabulary section of your notebook: promote, insure, welfare, prosperity, liberty.

A:
A constitution sets the laws and standards for the people of the nation. It tells them their rights, and also tells them what the governments powers are.
