The battle of lexington and concord was fought by the Boston militia and the British Military. The battle was fought just outside of Boston (present day Arlington.) The British won the first conflict with the militia and the British continued on their quest for secret weapons stored by the colonists. Later down the road a group of 500 minutemen defeated 3 sqauds of british troops and the miltia showed up again. Minutemen are a militia who can be deployed in a minutes notice. Eventually the militia won.

The battles of Lexington and Concord were fought between the malitia and the redcoats. The malitia were untrained, everyday people and they fought for the colonists. The redcoats are trained British soldiers. The battles were fought on April 19, 1775 in Lexington and Concord Massachusetts. They were the first actual battles in the American Revolution. They were fought because the colonists were trying to gain independence from the British, and to become their own country.

The Battles of Lexington and Concord were British attempts to destroy weapons stashed by the colonist. This battle took place on April 19, 1775 in Lexington. These weapon staches were also in Massachusetts Bay. These colonists, or militia were volounteer soldiers. The militia called the British troops "redcoats" or sometimes "devils". The militia held off the redcoats long enough for the other colonists to move the weapons from their staches.Minute men were soldiers who were ready to fight as soon that their needed.

The battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements in the American Revolution. Over 700 British soldiers were instructed to capture stored weapons that belonged to the Massachusettes militia in Concord.

The first shots where fired just before sunrise in Lexington. The militia was outnumbered and they had to pull away from the war. Afterwards, more militia arrived and inflicted heavy damage on the British as they where marching back to Boston.

The battles of Lexington and Concord were fought between the british military and the colonies miltia. The battle of lexington was fought first. It was the first battle of the revolutionary war. The British had heard that they were storing weapons at concord. However the milta was also notified that the British were planning to attack and get the weapons so they moved the weapons to a safe place and went out to block the British's path. The miltia was greatly out numbered and fell back, the british went on their way to concord. The British got to
Concord and searched for the supplies, but found none. They were met by Miltia. The miltia beat the British this time and they feel back. The British started back to boston. When they got there there was miltia blocking the land path into boston, thus starting the seige of boston. The first shot fired by the Milita there haas been described as the shot that was heard around the world.

The battle of Lexington and Concord was the first battle that started the American Revolutionary War. the first shot waqs fired early morning. the militia had to pull out because they were out numbered. It started in April 19,1775 in Middlesex Country within the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy and Cambridge. It was fought between the kingdom of Great Britain(red coats, trained army people) and it’s 13 colonies(milita, everyday men) and minutemen (men who were ready to fight when needed at short notice) . The battle was fought because the British Army was told to fight the colonists. militia had to hold off red coats so the colonists could move the weapons out.

The Battle of Lexington and Concord was fought between the British Military (red coats) and Boston miltia (Minutemen). The British found out about the stash of military supplies the colonists had been smuggling in anticipation of war. The britsh intended to destroy it. Dr. Joseph Warren found out and he warned Paul Rever that he had to inform John Handcock and Samual Adams that they had to run. Paul Rever also informed some other messagers in case he was captured. There was a code, if they hung one lantern from the clock tower they were marching and two ment they were sailing. So he hung two lanterns and rode to inform John and Samual that 700 redcoats were coming. After telling them, he got captured but the other messagers got the word around. There ended up being 75 Minutemen waiting for the British. The British only managed to get part of the supplies. There were several injuries and deaths. The first shot of the battle was later known as "the shot heard around the word" it was also the start of the Revoultionary War.

The Battle of Lexington and Concord was fought between the British Military (known as the Redcoats) and the Massachusetts mititia. The militia was made up of everyday colonists who were not professionally trained while the Redcoats were professional soldiers who trained regularly. The battles were on April 19th of 1775, they were in five towns just outside of Boston. Even though the 13 colonies were not yet a sepeate nation from England, this was the first actual battle of the American Revolution. It was known as the "Shot Heard Around the World" because it was the first battle of the American Revolution. The Redcoats had recieved word that the militia was storing weapons at Concord, so they were going to take (and destroy) them so they couldn't be used by the colonists. The colonists had heard about this plan ahead of time and moved their weapons to another location. The main reason why The Battles of Concord and Lexington were fought was because of rising tensions between the colonists and England (including the stored weapons and other things that would make the colonists want to seperate from Great Britian).

The battle of Lexington and Concord started April 19, 1775 and ended in 1782. It happened between Great Britian and the Province of Massachuettes Bay in Middlesex Counrty, Massachuettes. The cause of it was the British thought the Colonists were storing war supplies in Concord so they went there to check it out, when they got there war broke out. Nobody knows who fired the first shot but a few colonists, the British won that battle. They then went to Lexington but the people at Lexington were ready for them and the Colonists won that battle. This war was the Colonists victory but it also was the start of The American Revolution.

On April 19, 1775 in Concord, a shot that led to the American Revolution was fired at the North Bridge at sunrise. This shot was later referred to "The Shot Hear Around The World" even though it was not the first shot of the war. The British soldiers, also called the Redcoats because their bright red uniform, lead by Lieutenant Colonel Francis Smith got secret orders to capture and destroy military weapons hidden the Massachusetts militia in Concord. They were also called Minutemen. However the Patriot colonists discovered that the British were coming for the weapons, so they decided to move the weapons to other locations so that the British soldiers couldn't take them from the militia. The colonists then passed the information to the other colonies so that they were prepared. However, after the first shots were fired, the militia was outnumbered and retreated but at the North Bridge the militia outnumbered the Redcoats and beat them. The British were attacked by the minutemen on their march back to Boston where they were joined by British Lieutenant General Hugh Percy, but they still couldn't defend the militia. They safely reached Charlestown but the militia blocked their path. This is called the Siege of Boston.

In the battle of Lexington and Concord, the British Army and the colonist's militia. The battle took place just out side of Boston in April 19, 1775. The British marched to Concord from Boston, searching for the weapons they had heard were stored there. When Paul Revere had heard the British were marching into Concord, he rode into the town to warn the colonists to get the weapons out and be prepared to fight. The minute men got prepared for the battle, which the minute men were men that were always ready for battle the minute anyone shows up, and when the British showed up there were a series of battles between Lexington and Concord, and eventually the militia's won.

The Battles of Lexington and Concord were the first battles of the American Revolution. While the British soldiers were trained and professional, the Colonial soldiers were militia, or just your average Joes. The battle was fought near Boston on April 19, 1775. The battle was started by the British in order to destroy a stash of colonial weapons. The first shot was known as "The Shot Heard Round the World". At first the Americans were outnumbered, but soon more arrived, and the militia won.
