He was traveling for Spain and he was looking for spices and exotic land.

He did because when he was traveling he went in a circle. If the Earth was flat then he would fall off of the Earth.

He did not reach his destination. He landed in America.

He made all of them dig for gold. He did not treat them well.

My opinion is that he wants the most money that he can get and they are very hard working. They don't give up.

Columbus was serching for a rout to India to gain fame and wealth. He relized that the earth was round beacause of earlier scientists findings. He didn't reach India instead he reaches the west Indies. Colubus treated the people there cruley and he made them slave to dig for gold. We think that Columbus was very cruel.

West Indes.
4. He treated the people as slaves. He beat them and made them dig for gold starting at the age of fourteen. Gold was value-less to the natives but slaverly was normal where Columbus coming from.

4. He treated them terrible, he beat them and made them his slaves to mine for gold.
5. There cruel, vile, greedy men, but that was the common misconception in the middle ages, no one knew any better. So he's not seen by me as as much of a terrible person as I would if this would've happened in modern times.

3. No, he did not reach his destination, he thought he did, but he didn't he reached North America.
4. He treated them as slaves, because when he did go to Asia he was like the "king"so he treated them as he did when he was there before.
5. I think that were mean to treat them the way the treated the people that lived on North America. But then i also think that it is cool that they "traveled around the world" on boat, because it was a long journey.
